Women Impacting Public Policy will be hosting its Annual Meeting on Oct. 6, 2016 at the JW Marriott hotel in Washington, D.C. to ensure policymakers, experts and the media hear directly from women business owners about what they need to thrive.
The program will feature policy experts, media members and other D.C. insiders providing key information on the 2016 election and how it will impact your business. WIPP’s Chief Advocate Ann Sullivan will discuss how WIPP is working to make women business owners’ voices heard, and attendees will get a chance to visit Capitol Hill to interact directly with policymakers and their staff.
In addition to policy briefings and key insights into 2016’s remarkable election, WIPP will host an awards ceremony and networking reception in the evening. Ken Rudin, former political editor for NPR and current host of the weekly radio program Ken Rudin’s Political Junkie, will deliver the keynote speech for the dinner.
This is an unprecedented opportunity for women entrepreneurs to learn about how this year’s election will impact their businesses over the next four years and to interact directly with those making the policy decisions that impact your bottom line.
