A recent study by international advisory firm Grant Thornton, titled “Women in Business: the Value of Diversity,” reveals that companies with women in executive roles outperform those with all-male boardrooms. The study included companies from the U.S., U.K. and India focusing on day-to-day business operations, and discovered that companies lacking diversity at the executive level lost out on billions of dollars in 2014. A recent study released by Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate and The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) reveals that Hispanic women are the epicenter of their demographics’ home buying power. The national survey, which collected data from over 1,000 Latin American and Hispanic women between the ages of 25 and 60, addressed their thoughts and expectations when buying a home. The World Bank has released its report Women, Business and the Law 2016: Getting to Equal, addressing gender equality and the barriers obstructing women in hundreds of countries throughout the world. The report examines 173 economies and collects data across seven categories: accessing institutions, using property, getting a job, providing incentives to work, building credit, going to court and protecting women from violence. Unit for Female Entrepreneurs at National Bank of Fujairah

The National Bank of Fujairah (NBF), a United Arab Emirates bank incorporated in 1982, has developed a specialized unit for female entrepreneurs. NBF Elham will be operated by female Emirati corporate bankers, and will offer corporate banking services and solutions tailored to Emirati businesswomen.
