A demanding job, the commute, after-work errands or maybe even dropping off and picking up kids from soccer practice can leave you drained after a long day. Often times however, exhaustion and the need for a nap creep in during the day, much earlier than anticipated and without warrant. The solution isn’t an energy drink it’s sleep.

Just as important as how long you’re sleeping is how you’re getting your sleep. Five hours of good sleep can make you feel more rested than seven hours of mediocre shut-eye.

The most pivotal aspect of this movement is accountability, to ensure that diversity work is actually being conducted and not just discussed. Entities—most recently the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)—have taken initiative in reporting their progress by providing Congress with annual OMWI reports. Drone technology may be more than a fad but rather, an exciting new tool for many real estate professionals to survey, assess and show properties. Laws around drone use are still in developmental stages, if in existence at all. Similarly, drone usage in real estate is new and untested. What is clear is that real estate professionals can put themselves at risk through the use of drones, and the insurance industry has not yet formulated a cohesive response to coverage. NWBC Annual Report: 10 Million Strong

The National Women’s Business Council (NWBC) recently released their 2015 Annual Report, 10 Million Strong: The Tipping Point for Women’s Entrepreneurship, detailing last year’s developments, the Council’s accomplishments and their insights and suggestions for the new year. In the email announcing the report’s release, NWBC executive director Amanda Brown states that this is “a time for celebration and reflection, and also a call-to-action for continued–and dare I say greater–investment” as women are starting 1,200 new businesses every day and women-owned businesses have grown to 10 million in number.
