At their core, NAWRB members operate as dependable pillars supporting a structure that
advances the success and growth of Women Distressed Businesses throughout the nation.
REAL Standards
Our consortium of Distressed Services brokerages and businesses is comprised solely of
companies experienced with providing excellent service essential to the industry. All
women-owned companies having experience in the Distressed Services Industry are invited
to apply for membership to enjoy the benefits of NAWRB. Applications are assessed according
to NAWRB’s own judgment scale, REAL. In order to provide the best service for women ownership,
applicants will be considered based on the following requisites:
Reputation
- Ownership of an accomplished Women Distressed Services Brokerage/Business
- Professional references
Established
- Ownership of an established business in the Distressed Services Industry
Accomplishments
- Current good standing of Brokerage
- Membership with the National Association of Realtors *
- Active involvement with local MLS *
- Other related affiliations and/or awards **
Leadership
- Exemplary management of business
- Philanthropic endeavors **

Guidelines of Membership and the Application Process
- “Women Distressed Services Brokerage/Business” is defined by NAWRB as a company in the
Distressed Services Industry owned and operated by a female majority (51%).
- The application measurement process may last up to four weeks after an application is submitted.
- Denied Applicants may re-apply once the specified issue(s) are resolved.
- Membership status must be renewed on an annual basis. Membership renewal consists of
reapplication and payment of the Annual Renewal Fee.
- Following the decision to terminate membership, members immediately forfeit the right to all
member privileges and will not be refunded for the previously paid fees.
- Use of NAWRB’s name as a reference is highly encouraged.

Members will be billed the one-time Initiation Fee upon acceptance into NAWRB.

Members will be billed the Annual Renewal Fee beginning one year after acceptance into NAWRB.

Member Chapters
All NAWRB members are placed into distinct Member Chapters based on their preferred zip codes.
Due to limited availability, each Chapter is comprised of up to 2 distinguished brokerages, and
each brokerage is given a maximum of 25 zip codes. Every Chapter will feature current
Member Updates and Listings unique to its sector.
