The Korean Churches for Community Development (KCCD), soon to be Faith and Community Empowerment (FACE), 16th Annual Homeownership Fair will take place on Saturday, July 8, 2017. KCCD is excited to continue in educating and bringing together communities to meet with mortgage lenders, industry experts, and providing opportunities to purchase a home.
The homeownership fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Southwestern Law School at 3050 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA, 90010. Expecting between 150-175 participants this year, the fair has been a great success in past years, receiving wide media coverage and garnering hundreds of participants annually with a total of over 8,000 participants to date.
KCCD/FACE is a HUD-approved nonprofit housing counseling agency whose mission is to advance the Asian American community’s participation, contribution and influence through faith-based and community partnerships.
The fair cultivates guests and speakers from organizations such as the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), City of Los Angeles Housing and Community Investment Department, Los Angeles County Assessor’s Office and more.
The fair will include plenary sessions covering various homeownership topics (e.g. credit, the home buying process, special bank products, down payment assistance) and foreclosure prevention assistance resources and programs. In addition, participants will have opportunities to visit exhibit booths for resource materials, speaking with industry experts, and prizes.
KCCD President, CEO and Founder, Hyepin Im, will be a speaker at the 4th Annual NAWRB Nexus Conference. To register for the conference, please visit the NAWRB website.
