The main goal of this free event is to create a platform for Diaspora women of African Descent to connect on pressing matters and issues about the state of their communities – in the US and Country of Origin.
Objectives:
Promote the involvement of women in conflict prevention and resolution processes.
Networking opportunities between African Diaspora women peace organizations, and other stakeholders.
Raise awareness on immediate women’s needs in Africa with a special focus on Country pressing issues – such as, Cameroon, etc.
Open dialogue with peers from various industries – Best Practices and Lessons Learnt.
Mission trips, Volunteer, and Mentorship opportunities – aiming to induce a high level of participation.
Inclusion of women and young girls in the Diaspora and in Africa – in decision-making positions in various institutions (Private Sectors, Governments, Communities, Regional & Int’l Organizations).
