Chapman University’s Economic Forecast Update

Chapman’s inaugural Orange County Forecast, presented in 1978, was the first economic forecast in the U.S. to be based on an urban econometric model. The forecast grew out of a class project. For more than 40 years, it has provided students in the Argyros School hands-on experience in using econometric tools not only to revise and update the model but also to analyze current economic trends.
