The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced that on Thursday, October 13, Maria Contreras-Sweet, Administrator for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), will release research findings from a recent SBA study conducted by the Federal Research Division of the Library of Congress on diversity-related trends in small business investing.

One Year with TRID

From consolidating four mortgage forms into two to mandating that homebuyers receive the Closing Disclosure at least three business days before finalizing their mortgage, TRID established regulations to assist buyers in understanding all aspects of their home purchase.

Initiative Boosts Los Angeles and Baltimore Small Businesses

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Milken Institute are partnering to help increase minority lending in Baltimore and Los Angeles. The Partnership for Lending in Underserved Markets (PLUM) Initiative is a pioneering project that will “develop and test initiatives designed to more effectively provide capital to minority-owned businesses throughout the United States.”

Why It’s Hard for Women to Enter the C-suite
