April 11: Women’s Homeownership: Pathway to Economic Growth & Wealth
Women are entering higher-paying careers, starting businesses faster than men, delaying milestones like marriage and sacrificing what is necessary to become homeowners. This event, hosted by NAWRB, will feature investment opportunities for women, access to capital, business sustainability and more.
Attendees will hear from industry experts, including Esther Ayuk, Managing Broker, Bess Realty Professionals; Matilda Arhin, International Business Consultant, Ghana International Chamber of Commerce; Craig Small, Mortgage Broker, CBC National Bank; and Desiree Patno, CEO & President, NAWRB. The event will take place at the Roam Perimeter Center in Atlanta, Georgia from 1 PM to 5 PM.
April 12: mPower for Her @ Connect
For Her CONNECT’s 2018 Summit for Women in Real Estate Finance is a new event from the MBA for women.The Summit will bring together women within our industry to address the issues and challenges most relevant in the workplace today. Attendees will have time to network with peers and learn from leading women in mortgage finance.
April 12-14: Connect 2018; NAWRB Signs MOU with NAMMBA
The National Association of Minority Mortgage Bankers of America (NAMMBA) presents Connect 2018, a mortgage industry premiere event offering an education, networking and professional development. The conference will bring together the most diverse women and minority talent in real estate and finance.
On Friday, April 13th, NAWRB will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with NAMMBA. NAMMBA is a national trade association dedicated to helping minorities and women in the mortgage industry. We look forward to collaborating with NAMMBA toward achieving our shared initiatives.
